In a plastic mixing bowl, beat together 6 eggs.
Add 1.5 cups fat-free milk, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 0.5 teaspoons double strength vanilla extract to the eggs and whisk together.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread in the stone baker.
Cover the stone baker and refrigerate overnight or for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Bake the French toast for 30 minutes.
Prepare a quick fruit topping by cutting up strawberries, squeezing lemon juice, and adding a little sugar to taste.
Serve the baked French toast topped with the strawberry mixture.
