2 tablespoons vanilla bean paste or 1 vanilla bean pod
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar

Melt 2 sticks of butter in the microwave or on the stove and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, add 5 large eggs and 2 cups of granulated sugar. Beat until pale yellow and creamy, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Sift together 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour and 3/4 cup of cocoa powder.

Add the vanilla bean paste (or vanilla bean) to the egg and sugar mixture and mix well.

Gradually pour in the sifted flour and cocoa mixture into the batter, mixing until combined.

Pour in the cooled melted butter gradually, mixing until fully incorporated to form the brownie batter.

Grease a ceramic oval pan well.

Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan.

Place the ceramic pan inside a larger ovenproof pan.

Fill the larger pan with hot tap water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ceramic pan.
