Prepare a mug full of diced cooked potato.

Cook a pre-frozen vegetable mix until just tender to retain texture.

Chop celery and big dill pickles or sweet and sour gherkins.

Chop up luncheon meat or cold sausage, or use roast beef.

Chop apple just before adding to prevent browning.
