Pit the cherries. I used frozen ones. Take them out of the freezer and let them thaw.

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and boiling water. Stir the water and flour with a fork, then add the oil.

Add 1 egg and 1 yolk to the dough. Once the dough has cooled slightly, knead it by hand.

Knead the dough and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.3-0.5 cm. Use a round cutter to cut out shapes for the dumplings.

Place 1 teaspoon of filling on each round and fold (using a tool or your hands), sealing the edges.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. When the water boils, add the dumplings and cook for 3-5 minutes (or until they float). Fresh dumplings cook faster, while frozen ones take about 7-10 minutes.

Serve the dumplings with sour cream and powdered sugar.
