  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper, cooking for another minute to release the spices' flavors.
