1

In a bowl, combine 250 ml warm water, 1 tablespoon yeast, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Let the yeast activate for 5 minutes.

2

After activation, add 250 ml water, 50 g whole wheat flour, and 50 g rye flour.

3

Gradually add 500 g white flour and 1 tablespoon salt, mixing well.

4

Knead the dough on a surface, adding more flour if it sticks to your hands.

5

Add 20 ml oil in a few increments while kneading the dough well.

6

Grease a bowl and transfer the dough into it. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.

7

Once risen, transfer the dough back to the surface and knead again.

8

Shape the bread as desired and place it in a baking tray, cover, and let it rise for another 20 minutes.

9

Preheat the oven to 250°C and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce to 200°C and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.

10

The bread is done when it sounds hollow when tapped.
