These dumplings symbolize hospitality and are frequently served with spicy dipping sauces. Today, momos have gained popularity beyond Nepal, with various fillings and cooking methods embraced in restaurants worldwide.

Mix all-purpose flour and water in a bowl until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Finely chop the cabbage, onion, and cilantro.
In a bowl, combine ground meat, chopped vegetables, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and spices.
Mix the filling thoroughly until well combined.
Divide the rested dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough circle.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
Prepare a steamer and line it with parchment paper or cabbage leaves.
Steam the momos for about 15-20 minutes until the dough is cooked through.
Serve hot with dipping sauce.
