500 g ground beef
chopped green onions to taste
2 minced garlic cloves
1 chopped onion
2 eggs
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
salt to taste
black pepper to taste

150 g shredded mozzarella
2 tablespoons milk
tomato sauce to taste

Add 500 g of ground beef and chopped green onions to a bowl.

Add 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 chopped onion, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and nutmeg to taste.

Mix everything very well until fully combined with the meat.

Take a baking dish and grease it with olive oil.

Shape the meat mixture into small balls.

In the center of each meatball, make a small indentation using a spoon.

Leave the meatballs as is and bake at 180° C (about 350° F) for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil and add 5 peeled potatoes.

Cook the potatoes for about 10 minutes until done.

Transfer the cooked potatoes to a bowl and mash them into a puree.

Season the potato puree with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add 150 g of shredded mozzarella and 2 tablespoons of milk to the potato puree and mix until well incorporated.

Shape the potato mixture into small balls as well.

When the meatballs are done baking, place one potato ball over each indentation made earlier.

Grab some tomato sauce and spread it over the bottom of the baking dish, covering the potato balls as well.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each potato ball to taste.

Return the dish to the oven for another 20 minutes at the same temperature.
