For the meat, I'm using a mixture of 93% lean ground beef and ground pork.

You can use ground turkey or chicken if you prefer, but leaner meat is better for meatloaf.

Avoid using 70/30 ground beef as it has too much fat, which makes the meatloaf greasy.

For the ingredients, you'll need thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, salt, French bread, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and green pepper.

For the glaze, you'll need ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.

Soak the French bread in milk to make the meatloaf juicier, not greasy.

Cut up the onion and green pepper and sauté them on the stove with a little cooking oil until translucent.

Use a food processor to mix the sautéed vegetables with the seasonings for the meatloaf.

Add the soaked bread to the mixture, mashing it with a fork to incorporate moisture.
