1 cinnamon stick
8 green cardamom
2 black cardamom
1 star anise
10 peppercorn
6 cloves
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2-3 bay leaves
2 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp salt
1 cup yogurt
1 cup crushed fried onions
2 cups water
1/4 tsp mace
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp kewra water
fresh green chillis
fresh coriander/cilantro

Heat oil in the Ninja Foodi XL pressure cooker.

Add the whole spices (cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, star anise, peppercorn, cloves, cumin seeds, bay leaves) and sauté until fragrant.

Add garlic paste and ginger paste, and cook for a minute.

Add the mutton and sauté until it is browned on all sides.

Stir in the coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, paprika, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add yogurt and crushed fried onions, and stir to combine.

Seal the pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.

Once done, release the pressure and add mace, nutmeg, garam masala, and kewra water.
