Baked Buffalo Wings

2 lbs chicken wings
to taste celery
to taste onion slices
1 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp pepper flakes
as needed Crisco spray
1/4 cup Earth Balance
1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot
1 tsp mixed garlic
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried celery flakes

Add chicken wings to a large pot.

Add celery and onion slices to the pot (optional).

Add seasoning salt and pepper flakes to the pot.

Fill the pot with water until it covers the chicken wings.

Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken wings from the pot (they will be undercooked).

Dry the chicken wings completely with a paper towel.

Spray a baking rack with Crisco spray.

Place the chicken wings on the baking rack.

Put the baking rack in the oven and broil on low for 12 minutes.

Flip the chicken wings to crisp the other side.

Broil the other side for another 10 minutes.

Melt Earth Balance in a large pot.

Add Frank's Red Hot to the melted Earth Balance.

Add mixed garlic and black pepper to the pot.

Stir the sauce until everything is combined and melted.

Turn off the heat and add the crispy chicken wings to the pot with the sauce.
