1

Start with 4 bone-in pork chops and season them with salt and pepper.

2

In a 12-inch Jeffree Zikarian nonstick cast iron skillet, heat the pan over medium heat.

3

Add 4-6 slices of bacon to the pan and cook until crispy.

4

While the bacon is cooking, slice 2 medium-sized Fuji apples and 1/2 red onion.

5

Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside, keeping the bacon grease in the pan.

6

Add 2-3 tablespoons of bacon grease back into the pan.

7

Add the sliced red onions to the pan and cook for about 3 minutes.

8

Add the sliced apples to the pan along with a little salt and pepper.

Pour in 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/4 cup of brandy, 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar into the pan.

11

Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, reducing the liquid to a third.

12
