1 cup water
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup dairy-free plain yogurt (Forager brand)
1/4 cup cocoa powder (for glaze)
1/4 cup maple syrup (for glaze)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for glaze)
vanilla extract (optional)
pinch of salt (for glaze)

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Prepare an 8x8 inch pan by lining it with parchment paper and coating it with vegetable oil.

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour.

Add 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup of water, 1/3 cup of canola oil, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and 1/4 cup of dairy-free yogurt.
