1

Start with 2 room temperature eggs in a saucepan.

2

Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar to the eggs and mix well using a hand whisk.

3

Incorporate 1/3 cup corn starch into the egg and sugar mixture and mix until smooth.

4

Pour in 2.5 cups of milk and mix again until fully combined.

5

Turn on the gas stove and cook the mixture, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until it thickens.

6

Once thickened to a custard-like consistency, turn off the heat and continue mixing to avoid lumps.

7

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of butter and vanilla essence, mixing until smooth.

8

Cover the bowl with cling wrap to prevent moisture from entering and let it cool to room temperature, or refrigerate for 30 minutes.

9

Prepare a coffee mixture by mixing 1 tablespoon of sugar into 1/2 cup of milk, adjusting sugar to taste if needed.

10

After the base has cooled, add a layer of cream or thick milk skin to the base and mix until silky.

11

Dip cookies into the coffee mixture and layer them over the base.

12

Add a layer of the silky cream mixture on top of the cookies and smooth it out.

13

Repeat the layering process with more dipped cookies and cream until all ingredients are used, ensuring even layers.

14

Finish with a final layer of cream and decorate as desired.
