2 tbsp. butter
1 onion sliced
2 wiri wiri peppers chopped
1 pimento pepper chopped
6-8 cloves garlic chopped
3 stalks of celery chopped
2 tsp. dried Guyanese thyme
2 tsp. onion flakes
3 bay leaves
salt and black pepper to taste
6 blue crabs cut in half (washed and cleaned)
3 scallions chopped
1 can coconut milk (about 1.5 cups)
about 8-10 cups water
2 tsp. Tajin seasoning
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. all-purpose or Old Bay seasoning
2 plantains cut into about 5-6 pieces each
1 large cassava cut into pieces
2 white yams peeled and cut into chunks
2 carrots peeled and sliced
1 cup chopped poi bhajee (or any type of fresh spinach)
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1.5 tsp. sugar (OPTIONAL)
1.5 tbsp. butter or oil
1/2 tsp black pepper (OPTIONAL)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (OPTIONAL)
