2 cups water
4 green onions
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon allspice
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons butter

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a large pot, combine coconut milk, water, and drained kidney beans.
