Cream together 250 grams of margarine and 150 grams of sugar using a hand mixer.
Sift together 300 grams of flour and half tablespoon of baking powder.
Grease the baking pan with a little butter and dust with flour.
Add 1 egg into the creamed margarine and sugar and continue creaming with the hand mixer.
Add half tablespoon of vanilla, half tablespoon of brownie, and half tablespoon of black charcoal to the mixture.
Fold in a little of the liquid ingredients and a little of the dry ingredients, being careful not to over mix.
If desired, add half teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg.
Garnish the top with dried fruits.
Bake the cake for 30 minutes, then check for doneness using a skewer or toothpick.
