1 yellow onion

1 and 1/2 pounds 80/20 ground beef
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

24 ounces tomato sauce
1 cup water

Wash 1 cup long grain rice in a food processor.

Blend 1 yellow onion, fresh parsley, and 4 garlic cloves.

Add the blended vegetables to 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef.

Add 1 teaspoon ground coriander, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, sea salt, and black pepper to the beef mixture.

Mix the beef mixture well and gradually incorporate the rice.

Form the beef mixture into small balls and shape them into kofta.

Fry the kofta over high heat until browned on the outside.

Dice one yellow onion and fry it in olive oil until browned.

Add 24 ounces tomato sauce and 1 cup water to the pan to wash out the jar.

Add the kofta to the sauce and set the timer for 10 to 15 minutes.
