2 cups chickpea flour
1/2 cup rice flour
3 medium onions
2 tbsp. cumin
1/2 tbsp. red pepper
1 tbsp. Turmeric
3 tbsp. salt or to taste
1 tbsp. fenugreek leaves
1 tbsp. asafetida powder
1 tbsp. garlic/ginger paste
1 tbsp. garam masala

Grate the bottle gourds and squeeze out excess water.

In a bowl, mix the grated bottle gourd with chickpea flour, rice flour, chopped onions, cumin, red pepper, turmeric, salt, fenugreek leaves, asafetida powder, garlic/ginger paste, and garam masala.

Form the mixture into small fritters.

Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the fritters until golden brown.
