1/2 tsp water, milk, or lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl mix cream cheese and jam until thoroughly combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the berry jam and fruits and set aside.

Lay the thawed puff pastry onto a floured surface and roll it out a couple of times.

Cut into 8 equal rectangles and transfer the sheets onto a baking tray.

Use a knife to score a border around the outside. (Don’t cut all the way through)

Use a fork to prick the middle of each puff pastry piece several times.

Spread about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese in the center of each puff pastry.

Top with a fruit and jam mix.

Make egg wash by mixing the egg and milk and brush the egg wash around the outer edge of the puff pastry.

Bake the pastries for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and puffed.

When they’re still warm on the baking sheet, brush the tops with a little extra berry jam.
