1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic
1 lemon
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Portion the salmon from the whole filet by removing the thinner tail portion.

Debone the thicker portion of the salmon.

Slice the fillets into about 6 to 7 ounce portions.

Remove the skin and the bloodline (grayish area) from the back of the fillet.

Get a large saute pan on high heat and add a generous splash of oil.

Flip the salmon and transfer to a plate or tray.

Add butter to the hot pan along with a whole head of garlic sliced down the middle and a whole lemon sliced down the middle.

Transfer the pan to a 450 degree oven for 2 minutes or until the salmon is just barely cooked through and still tender in the middle.
