Russian Salad

2 medium potatoes

8 to 10 french beans
1/2 apple

Wash and peel 2 medium potatoes, then chop into small cubes and place in water to prevent discoloration.

Cube 3 large slices of pineapple, discarding the center.

Chop 2 carrots into small cubes, removing the center part.

Soak 8 to 10 french beans in salted water for 10 minutes, then wash, dry, and chop them.

Remove the core and peel from 1/2 apple, then chop it into pieces.

Boil 4 to 5 cups of water and add the chopped potatoes, boiling for about 5 minutes until firm but cooked, then drain.

Add the chopped carrots to the boiling water for about 1 minute, then drain.

Add the chopped french beans to the boiling water for a few seconds, then drain.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled potatoes, french beans, carrots, chopped apples, and pineapples.

Season with 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder and salt to taste, mixing well.

Add 1 cup of mayonnaise (or more to taste) and mix everything together.

Chill the salad before serving.
