1

In a large bowl, add in the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seasoning salt, pepper, and onion powder; using clean hands, mix together until well combined (be careful not to overmix).

2

Divide the meat mixture into 4 to 6 even pieces and shape each piece into a patty.

3

Heat a large skillet or pan over high heat, cook for about 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until meat temperature reaches 160 degrees.

4

In another skillet over medium heat, add in 2 to 3 tablespoons butter and let it melt, add in the hamburger buns and toast until golden brown about 3 to 4 minutes.

5

Place one slice of cheese on each burger, and let the cheese melt for about a 1 to 3 minutes.

6

Remove the patties from the pan.

7

Spread the bottom bun with barbecue sauce, then add the hamburger patty on top of the bun, then top onion rings, drizzle with barbecue sauce then add on the top bun.
