Prepare the dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of corn starch. Whisk together and set aside.

Peel 3 ripe bananas and place them in a large bowl. Smash them with a fork until they are somewhat smooth, leaving a little texture.

Add 1 cup of sugar to the smashed bananas, using a 0.5 cup measurement to add it in two parts.

Add 2 large eggs (room temperature), 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of butter extract. Whisk to combine.

Add 1/3 cup of buttermilk (room temperature) and 0.5 cup of canola oil to the mixture. Mix well.
