Instructions

  1. 1Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2Add chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3Increase heat to medium-high and add ground beef and ground pork. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. 4Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine. Mix well to combine.
