This dish showcases the versatility of sushi ingredients, allowing for a baked version that's easy to share and enjoy. It's become a popular choice for gatherings, reflecting the growing trend of fusion cuisine that appeals to a wide audience.

Wash 1 cup of sushi rice by adding water and stirring, then removing the water and repeating until clear.
Place the washed rice in a rice cooker and add 1 and 1/4 cup of water, then cook the rice.
In a measuring cup, mix 1/4 cup of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until combined, then set aside.
Once the rice is cooked, place it in a large bowl and season with the sushi vinegar, mixing it in with a paddle.
Coat 1 salmon fillet in olive oil and season both sides with pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay, and paprika.
Place the seasoned salmon on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
After baking, place the salmon in a bowl and break it into small pieces with a fork.
Shred 8 ounces of imitation crab and chop it into small pieces.
In a large bowl, combine the salmon, imitation crab, 2 ounces of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of QP Mayo, 1 tablespoon of sriracha, and 1/2 cup of green onions, mixing until well combined.
In a baking dish, spread the prepared sushi rice evenly and flatten it.
Add a layer of furukake seasoning on top of the rice.
Spread the crab and salmon mixture evenly over the rice.
Bake at 380°F for 10 minutes.
After baking, drizzle sriracha and spicy mayo on top, then add green onions, a sprinkle of black sesame seeds, furukake seasoning, and slices of avocado.
