Add butter and an egg to the mixture and mix well.
Add about 2 cups of flour to the mixture and mix until combined.
Add diluted evaporated milk until the batter is moist but not soupy.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Add a handful of dried cranberries to the batter and mix.
Smooth the batter into a greased pan and cover with foil, poking holes for steam to escape.
Bake in the preheated oven.
