Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3Add the egg to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. 4Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm.
  5. 5Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and fold the meat around it, forming a ball.
  6. 6Repeat with the remaining meat mixture and cheese cubes.
  7. 7Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. 8Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  9. 9While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  10. 10Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot with the marinara sauce.

  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the beef round steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. 3In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until well combined.
  4. 4Dip each piece of steak into the buttermilk mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere.
  5. 5Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  6. 6Fry the steak bites in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan, for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. 7Remove the fried steak bites and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. 8Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
