1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dried basil or 1/2 tbsp fresh basil
1/8 teaspoon thyme powder
1/4 tsp sage
1/8 tsp rosemary powder
Sprinkle red pepper flakes
1 bay leaf
1 3/4 cups beef broth or vegetable broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar

In a dutch oven cook meat, onion, green pepper, until meat is browned and vegetables are tender.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 ½ to 2 hours or until sauce is of desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
