CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES RECIPE 🇬🇧🇬🇾🙏♥️

Melt a little butter in a pot.

Add grated garlic and chopped onions to the pot and sauté for about 3 to 4 minutes.

Add flour to the pot to thicken the cheese sauce and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Pour in whole milk and stir until the mixture thickens.

Add seasonings and black pepper to the cheese sauce and mix well.

Once the cheese sauce is at the desired consistency, lower the heat and let it cool slightly.

In a baking dish, spread some cheese sauce at the bottom.

Layer the sliced potatoes on top of the cheese sauce.

Sprinkle chopped honey roast ham over the potatoes.

Add another layer of cheese sauce on top of the ham and potatoes.

Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese sauce on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, remove the foil and return the dish to the oven to crisp the top for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.

Once finished, cut into the cheesy scalloped potatoes to serve.
