Ingredients

  • โ—2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • โ—1 cup sausage, sliced
  • โ—2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • โ—1/2 cup onion, diced
  • โ—1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • โ—1/2 cup peas
  • โ—2 cloves garlic, minced
  • โ—2 eggs, beaten
  • โ—3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • โ—1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • โ—1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • โ—2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. 1Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. 3Add the diced onion and carrots to the skillet, and sautรฉ for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. 4Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. 5Push the sausage and vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
  6. 6Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps, and mix everything together.
  7. 7Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice mixture, stirring to combine evenly.
  8. 8Add the peas and black pepper, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. 9Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions.
  10. 10Serve hot.
