Tres Leches Cake, originally from Latin America, has found a unique expression in Turkey as Üç Sütlü Kek. This delightful dessert reflects the Turkish love for rich, creamy sweets, often served during special occasions and family gatherings. The cake's moist texture, achieved by soaking in a mixture of three types of milk, makes it a beloved treat. Today, variations abound globally, with each culture adding its twist to this indulgent classic.

Coconut cream adds richness while being dairy-free.

Almond milk lowers calories while still providing sweetness.
In a bowl, add eggs and caster sugar, and beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla essence, baking powder, and cooking oil, and beat for two minutes.
Add semolina and flour to the mixture.
Grease the baking dish and pour the batter into it.
Bake at 185°C for 30 to 35 minutes.
In a bowl, add cream, sugar, dry milk powder, and half of the milk, and mix well.
Add the remaining milk, mix again, and refrigerate until use.
Take the cake out of the oven and make holes in it using a straw.
Gradually pour all the milk mixture over the cake and let it cool down.
In a frying pan, melt the butter.
Add sugar and cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add cream and cook until it thickens.
Spread the caramel mixture over the top of the cake.
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
