Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the baking dish by greasing it with butter.
Layer sheets of phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
Chop the nuts and mix them with cinnamon and sugar.
Spread the nut mixture evenly over the phyllo layers.
Continue layering phyllo and butter until all ingredients are used, finishing with phyllo on top.
Cut the layered pastry into squares or diamonds before baking.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
While baking, combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add honey and rose water to the syrup, then simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the baklava from the oven and immediately pour the syrup over it.
Allow the baklava to cool completely before serving.
