Form potato mixture into oval dumplings, filling each with the meat mixture.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Drop dumplings into boiling water and cook until they float, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove dumplings with a slotted spoon and drain.
In a skillet, fry the dumplings in butter until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
Serve hot, topped with sour cream and fresh herbs.
