Abrabang is a traditional Filipino dessert made from sticky rice and coconut milk, often enjoyed during festive occasions and celebrations. This dish reflects the rich agricultural heritage of the Philippines, where rice and tropical fruits are abundant. Today, it is cherished not just in local communities but also among Filipinos around the world, showcasing the country's culinary diversity.

Soak sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Drain the sticky rice and combine it with coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Mix well until the sugar is dissolved and the rice is evenly coated.
Prepare banana leaves by softening them over heat and cutting them into squares.
Line a steaming tray with banana leaves, leaving some overhang to fold over the top later.
Place a layer of the sticky rice mixture in the tray, smoothing it out evenly.
Add a layer of sliced mango and jackfruit on top of the sticky rice.
Cover with another layer of the sticky rice mixture, pressing down gently.
Fold the banana leaves over the top to cover the mixture completely.
Steam the wrapped mixture over boiling water for about 45-60 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked.
Remove from the steamer and let it cool slightly before serving.
Slice into squares and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
