Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Add vanilla extract and stir gently.

Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
