Sprinkle the nut mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
Top with the remaining buttered dough, spreading evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and rose water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to create a syrup.
Remove the kadayıf from the oven and pour the syrup over it while hot.
Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Garnish with crushed pistachios before serving.
