Start by caramelizing some onions: heat on high, add 2 tablespoons of oil and a touch of salt, then add a third of a cup of water.
Once the water comes to a boil, cover with a lid and let it reduce for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, push the onions down to the bottom and to the side, and let them cook without touching for 30 seconds.
Repeat the process of pushing down and stirring every 30 seconds until the onions are caramelized, which takes about 30-35 minutes.
You can prepare the onions ahead of time and assemble the sandwiches later.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Make the aioli by mixing 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and all-purpose seasoning to taste.
Set the aioli aside and prepare the butter sauce by melting 1 stick of butter, then adding 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and all-purpose seasoning. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes.
Slice the 12 count Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and lay the bottom half down.
Spread the aioli sauce evenly over the bottom buns.
Layer the deli style roast beef evenly over the aioli.
Add provolone cheese slices on top of the roast beef.
Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the cheese (optional).
Place the top half of the buns over the fillings.
Coat the top buns with the butter sauce, making sure to get it in the creases.
Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top of the buns.
Cover the assembled sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and serve.
