In a cup or bowl, mix lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar, then let it sit until frothy.

2

In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil, mixing with a spoon.

3

Add yogurt and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing by hand.

4

Add water little by little until the dough comes together, then stop adding water.

5

Knead the dough by hand or use a stand mixer on low for about 5 minutes until very soft.

6

Grease your hands with olive oil and coat the bowl of dough with it, then cover with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel to let it rise until doubled in volume.

7

On a working board, deflate the dough and form small balls.

Roll each ball into a round or oval shape and let rest for 5 minutes before cooking.

9

Slightly oil the cast iron skillet, then start cooking the naan bread.

Once bubbles form, flip the bread over, gently press with a spatula, and cook both sides.
