Broiled Salmon

4 (6 oz) fillets of salmon with skin on
1 chopped garlic clove
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup white wine (Pignolet)
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp mixed herbs (parsley, chives, tarragon, chervil)
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill

Preheat the oven's broiler.

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and coat with non-stick cooking spray.

In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1 chopped garlic clove and 2 tbsp coconut oil. Microwave on high for 45 to 90 seconds to infuse the garlic flavor.

In a saucepan over low heat, add 1/2 cup of butter and allow to melt.

Stir the garlic oil into the melted butter and remove from heat.

Add 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup white wine, 1 tsp ground black pepper, and 1 tsp garlic salt to the butter mixture.

Next, add 1 1/2 tsp mixed herbs (parsley, chives, tarragon, chervil).

Place the 4 salmon fillets skin side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Spoon about a third of the butter sauce over the fillets and evenly sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill.

Broil the salmon in the preheated oven, 6 inches from the heat source, for about 3 minutes.

Gently turn the fillets onto their side and baste with another third of the butter sauce. Broil for another 3 minutes.

Turn the salmon to its other side and baste with the remaining sauce. Broil until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 3 more minutes.
