Broiled Salmon

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lemon (sliced)
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Turn on the oven and start the broiler.

Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick spray.

Place the salmon portions on the pan, aligning skinny and thick sides together.

Pat the salmon dry to remove excess water from thawing.

Brush olive oil onto the salmon.

Mix together the blackening herbs for even distribution.

Season the salmon with the mixed herbs, rubbing them in evenly, including the sides.
