In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar for about 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to keep the mixture smooth and light.

Add half of the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.

Add all the milk at once and mix until incorporated.

Add the remaining half of the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.

Add the vanilla extract and fold the batter with a spatula to ensure no flour is left around the bowl.

Distribute the batter into the muffin pan using a spoon, leveling it with the back of the spoon or by tapping the pan on the table.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
