Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
Form the mixture into oval patties, about 1 inch thick.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onions and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in beef broth and milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Return the patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
