Combine 2 tablespoons of Mrs. Dash seasoning, ground black pepper, 0.5 teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning, 0.25 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and salt to taste in a bowl.
Pat the salmon fillets dry to remove moisture.
Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and rub in the seasoning mixture on both sides of the fish.
Set the seasoned salmon aside.
Clean and cut the ends off the asparagus.
In a saucepan, heat oil and fry chopped green onion until golden brown.
Add 2 cups of jasmine rice and 4 cups of water to the saucepan, along with the Maggi cube and turmeric for color.
Bring the rice to a boil and then wash the rice before adding it to the boiling water.
In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-high heat and add the salmon fillets.
Cook the salmon for about 5 minutes on each side until nicely seared and golden brown.
Once cooked, place the salmon in the oven for about 5 minutes to ensure it's fully cooked.
In another skillet, heat olive oil and unsalted butter, then add the asparagus.
Season the asparagus with ground black pepper, complete seasoning, salt, and dried pepper flakes, and add a splash of soy sauce.
Cook the asparagus until it's soft and overcooked, as preferred.
