Today, variations of Moambe can be found in many African diaspora communities, adapting to local tastes while maintaining its core essence.

Boil 2 liters of water in a pot on high heat.
Add 5 Maggie cubes, 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning, chicken seasoning, and dry thyme to the boiling water.
Grate whole nutmeg and add it to the pot.
Add bay leaves to the pot and close the lid; boil for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove the chicken and set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the chicken and set aside; repeat the frying process with the remaining pieces.
In a clean pan, recycle the oil used to fry the chicken, adding 3 tablespoons.
Add chopped vegetables to the pan and sauté until softened.
Add 400g of chopped tomatoes and stir; add 1 Maggie cube and stir until cooked.
Add the chicken back to the pot with the broth and mix everything well.
Add a bit of water to the pan to scrape the sauce and mix well.
Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
