1 whole chicken, jointed into pieces
3tbsp coconut oil
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
2 green cardamom pods

1tbsp ground coriander
4 lime leaves
3 salaam leaves (optional)
Salt, sugar and white pepper, to taste
Rice vermicelli, cooked
Egg noodles, cooked
30g mung bean noodles (optional)
Small wedge white cabbage (about 200g), thinly sliced
Bean sprouts, washed and picked
1 tomato, cut into wedges
Boiled egg, halved
1 spring onion, sliced
Small bunch fresh coriander, chopped
Sambal (optional)
1 lime, cut into wedges
Deep-fried sliced shallots (optional)
