Spread half of the batter into a greased baking dish.
Layer the sliced apples evenly over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter over the apples, smoothing it out gently.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
