Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until well liquefied.

Add vanilla, salt, cinnamon, white sugar, and brown sugar to the mashed bananas and mix well.

Add two lightly beaten eggs, baking soda, and vegetable oil to the mixture and mix well.

If using nuts, add the chopped walnuts and mix them into the batter.

Gradually add the two cups of flour in a couple of batches, mixing until well blended.

Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 to 55 minutes.
