4 medium peaches
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup whipped cream
1/4 cup almonds, chopped

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Wash and halve the peaches, removing the pits.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until bubbling.

Add brown sugar, stirring until dissolved and bubbly.

Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.

Add peach halves cut-side down into the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes.

Carefully flip the peaches, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until caramelised.
