Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Prick the bottom of the deep dish pie shell to prevent puffing up during baking.
Bake the pie shell for a bit to pre-bake it.
Add oil to a nonstick pan and heat it up.
Add ground beef to the pan and season with Cajun seasoning; cook until browned.
Drain the ground beef after cooking.
Add chopped green bell pepper and onion to the pan; sauté until softened.
Add smoked garlic powder, smoked salt, and smoked pepper to the vegetables.
Mix the drained ground beef back into the pan with the sautéed vegetables.
Add cheddar cheese and mushroom steak sauce to the meat mixture; stir to combine.
Fill the pre-baked pie shell with the meat mixture.
Top the filled pie shell with another pie shell; seal the edges.
Sprinkle bread crumbs on top for extra texture.
Bake both pies in the oven until cooked through and golden brown.
Serve with sides like lima beans.
